Use these guides to configure purchase approval before checkout, test it with a Shopify B2B company account, and understand what happens at every stage.
Start with the operating model
ApproveCart B2B is a Shopify app for internal B2B purchase approvals before checkout. A signed-in company buyer submits a cart, the buyer or assigned approver can refine it while pending, and checkout protection confirms the final approved cart still matches.

Recommended setup order
- Confirm the store and customer accounts meet the requirements.
- Choose the default approval policy and plan-specific features.
- Assign at least one active manager to the test company.
- Configure company or individual spend limits where needed.
- On Growth, add targeted rules and approval expiry.
- Test buyer submission, pending-cart editing, approver decision, cart restoration, and checkout validation.
